Founder and CEO of JV20. He previously was a partner at Uría Menéndez, where he opened the Mexico office, and at Pwc, where he led the global real estate transactions practice. He has also been CEO of Mixta Africa, Renta Corporación and Neinor Homes, the Spanish developer that was acquired from Lonestar and launched on the stock exchange in 2017.
JV20 has a Venture Capital division, where Juan helps companies in the Proptech sector to develop their business in seed stages. Today he has a portfolio of 13 proptech startups that cover the entire chain value of the real estate sector under the concept of technological disruption.
Carlos joined ARGIS as Partner and CEO in 2020 after having been an investor since 2015. He previously managed the Argentina office of Advent International, one of the biggest and most important private equity fund managers in the world.
Previously he worked in leadership positions in several funds and investment funds for more than twelve years. Carlos has executed investments in a wide range of industries in Latin America and the United States: real estate, electronic payments, consumer, retail, infrastructure and energy. He has also been CFO and CEO of multiple portfolio companies.
Alejandro founded ARGIS in Madrid in 2015 after twelve years of experience in investment funds. Previously he was part of the investment team Viola Partners (Carmel Ventures, Viola PE), the biggest Private Equity and Venture Capital fund in Israel.
During 2013, he acquired Barugel Azulay, a leading luxury building materials company in Argentina, for $18 million through a leveraged buyout. Previously, he was a member of the investment team at Pegasus – Merrill Lynch PREF I, where he analysed over $500 million in real estate transactions in Argentina.
Former Global Head of BBVA Engineering, and expert in technology and transformation, he has promoted several projects that have increased BBVA’s efficiency and profitability.
Great professional career as former President and CEO of Prisma Payment Systems, he also has an extensive experience in the banking business obtained after his time at BBVA Francés in Argentina as Executive Chairman from 2010 to 2015. During this period, he managed to raise BBVA Francés to the top positions in terms of profitability and loyalty in the country’s banking sector and to win a place in the top-10 of the best companies to work in Argentina.
Degree in Human Resources from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). MIT Executive Program in “Digital Transformation” and UADE Business School, Executive Program in “Customer Experience”.
Professional with more than 17 years of international experience in Human Resources in different corporations: Unilever, Toyota and Techint Group. Professor in different Universities, both in Spain and Argentina. International speaker on Technology, Gaming, Employability and Generational Changes. Columnist for several newspapers, TV and radio.
